Tripadvisor has named a cruise through Vietnam’s Ha Long or Lan Ha Bay among the world’s top 10 travel experiences for 2026, alongside tours across four continents.

North Vietnam Tour Package 4 days: Hanoi – Halong Bay Cruise
The two or three-night cruise houses guests in cabins, with schedules balancing leisure, activities, and food. Active travelers can kayak, swim, or cycle through fishing villages at port stops, while others relax on deck taking in the scenery.
Cooking classes and performances are also included. The experience is available starting at US$53 per adult.
Topping the list is a 2.5-hour walking tour through the historic city center of Portugal’s Porto, priced at just $3.55.
Japan’s Hiroshima and Miyajima day trip, combining the Atomic Bomb Memorial Park with the UNESCO-listed island shrine, comes in second at $125.
Rounding out the top three is a Barcelona day tour covering Sagrada Família, Park Guell and the Gothic Quarter for $118 per person.
Tripadvisor’s Top Experiences ranking is part of its annual Travellers’ Choice Best of the Best Awards. Of more than eight million listed experiences, fewer than 1% qualify based on the volume and quality of traveler reviews collected over the preceding 12 months.
